but lets look at a few things...in january we saw record volume in the otc market,we are now up in volume over 674 percent from just 2 years ago..market makers do not hold inventory in stocks,contrary to what people think,market makers do not like to be long on stocks...so in the first 3 months of the year when we are going thru record volumes it made sense not for the market makers to put any roof on stocks for this way this was the easiest way to prevent them from losing money,but this did not stop the market makers from also finding themselves short big time on a lot of big time volume movers....they do not have a time period to cover and when times are good,people love to throw their money at the otc market,but when things start turning the big otc market is the first to lose their volume,so when volume starts drying it becomes easier for market makers to start dropping stocks,now while the market makers start closing their books on a lot of positions and covering they are also faced with another dilemma,they have destroyed the stock so much that there is over sells in their investories,mm's do not want to start taking in so much,so now they play games on your minds on stocks that just seem to good to be true at prices like this,they have to find prices for some people to start buying their shares,this is how they balance their books,make money and avoiding overextending themselves on the stocks as well....
why the summer-well usual patterns have lots of money leaving the market for a few months and makes it is easier to manipulate the market and their tends to be less force to fight their actions...so while this experience we are in now is bad,maybe,just maybe it will make it easier to exist in the summer for the mm's should have already covered their books and be in a good financial position by that time....
if market makers sold shares of invt at 7.00 or great and were shorting their positions,it sure makes some great money in covering now,but they are not looking to stockpile,just go back to square one....the reason the market will move again,is because this is the way the market makers make their biggest money..
