That works out to about $1 per gallon, and it is probably the worst case for subsidies. The price of wheat is only around 5% of the cost of a loaf of bread.

Pete,

The situation of the small American farmer is very sad.....they are struggling financially.....that's why so many are selling out to corporate farmers. I wonder what the results of that will be.
