The new TAL Alarms feature in v 7.x allows you to select a .sfl file to run against.

Select TAL Alarms from under the Design menu, right click in the Alarms Window, select Setup, click Symbol File and select a .slf file. Then, if you check Intraday High or Intraday Low in the Filters dialog box, it should hit the gaps up and gaps down for you at the open.

I don't think it will do pre-market gaps, though, unless TAL Alarms runs against the IRG trades that print premarket. I have never tried it, so I don't know if it does or not.

I do know there are there are 3rd party add-ons available that alert premarket gaps, both up and down. See daytradingstocks.com towards the bottom of the page for links to 3rd party add-ons.

As for phactor, it seems to have been down for quite some time. Phil may have taken it down to work on it. I know he was really behind in getting it updated. I'll send him an e-mail and ask.
