My experience with pain pills has not been as you
describe. I was so glad the pain wasn't there
anymore, I was elated and somewhat giddy.

I don't think I've ever had tranquilizers, unless
some muscle relaxants I've taken (can't think of their
name at the moment) could be classified as such.

I have known some folks who were on a regimen of
a tranq.-type medication, and they were much more
"mellowed out" and more prone to frivolity than
when they were not taking the medicine.

So, I guess that's another area where we disagree.
