I happen to have the bad misfortune of living across the road from approximately 500 acres of nursery sod fields... I've been here for 20 years and they've been here for about 4, so this definitely wasn't my choice. Lots of herbicide spraying goes on in this area... I just hate it... Sometimes I'll be outside working around the gardens and I'll suddenly notice that my face feels cold and my lips are numb feeling. I'll take a look out across the fields and sure enough, there will be someone out spraying the fields... Bad enough to have to put up with this crap when you don't have a choice, but I really CANNOT understand why anyone would willingly get their lawns sprayed with this trash just to kill some dandelions... It's mental... If we move, it will be because of the spraying... contemplating it... have lost 3 dogs to cancer and have had several severely deformed goats born here at the farm... no eyes, insides on the outside, a missing front leg... really nice stuff... And yet the spraying is all perfectly legal... Believe me, I've checked into all of this with people who know... It makes me disgusted... Anyone who sticks up for the spraying of pesticides is an imbecile...
