Please stop wasting our time with the childish one line sentences. --- Please too keep in mind Rod that for those of us using a text browser, that's typically 80 characters per line (guideline). You can use commas and semi-colons to effectively extend sentences. Marcel Proust was often able to take sentences out for *pages. --- Anyway, I'd like to point out that StarOffice (which I use) was ported to Linux with a kit (as are most 'native' Linux ports). I tend to believe Corel when they say application performance and stability running with WINE is on par with doing a port (FWIW). This is an area of some expertise for Corel. Also, Corel's Linux distro is very well done. You fault it for being borrowed from Debian. Did you know RedHat Linux was similarly borrowed from Caldera? You can fault the general Linux business model, and certainly the desktop Linux model, but Corel's Linux product and Corel's Linux execution is something difficult to fault. -JCJ
