Build massive amount of product, as much as the fabs permit, hold it at die bank to keep the inventory costs low

This may be a stupid question, but what is a die bank?

PS: I agree that AMD should get out of K6 business as soon as possible and go to all Athlon. Every chip going to non-Athlon infrastructure is a chip that is not strenghtening Athlon platform. The future of AMD depends on the strength of Athlon platform.
