Thomas O'Donnell Joins National Discount Brokers/ndb.com as Managing Director, Customer Service

NEW YORK, May 1 /PRNewswire/ -- National Discount Brokers
Corporation/ndb.com, a leading Internet brokerage and financial services
company and subsidiary of National Discount Brokers Group, Inc. (NYSE:NDB),
announced today the hiring of Thomas O'Donnell as managing director, customer
service, along with the promotion of Tiffany O'Toole Flaherty to managing
director, sales and the promotion of Thomas Pizza to the position of managing
director/chief information officer.
"Tom O'Donnell brings an extensive background in customer service to NDB
and will provide important leadership to our staff," said Chris McQuilkin,

O'Donnell joins National Discount Brokers from Prudential Mutual Fund and
Annuity Services, where he served as vice-president, customer service.
Previously, he worked at Merrill Lynch managing a corporate plans processing
unit. He received his BS Degree in Marketing and Industrial Psychology from
the State University of New York at Plattsburgh.
O'Toole Flaherty had been vice president of sales since joining NDB in
September of 1998. Previously, she was the Midwest Director of Sales for
Bloomberg TradeBook. Tiffany has been instrumental in the growth of NDB's
Netlink product, expanding the customer base to over 100 participating
companies representing over 50,000 employee accounts.
Pizza joined NDB in July 1995 as Senior Manager of Technology
Infrastructure. Tom currently has responsibility for designing and
implementing the data center and technology infrastructure at the Company's
new offices in Jersey City, NJ, as well as focusing on the security,
scalability and speed of the new systems. Prior to joining NDB, he worked for
Morgan Stanley as Trading Floor Operations Manager and Voice Operations
Manager.
