heinz-- I saw a chart this morning on CNBS comparing the fed funds rate to the ECRI's forward inflation projection. The two lines tracked each other fairly well until you get to March '00. The ECRI line is moving ahead dramatically to the upside and currently points to 7%. If Al.com takes the nos. from ECRI seriously, he obviously has some more work to do.
