RED ALERT! TECH WRECK HITS THE NASDAQ!

COULD BE WORSE...VALUJET!

COULD BE WORSE YET...DIANA & PRESSTEK (DUMB ALERT ON THOSE TWO)!

Hey! Who buys AMD for the CPU's...nobody out here thinks they'll
ever catch up with Intel. AMD has lots of other stuff going for
it...if all you're going to buy is the biggest and the best of the
current crop, you can still lose in the end. Some of the bluest of
the blue chips have gone in the dumper before, and they will again.
Nobody here is falling in love with AMD as an investment but some
of us see a value play...some of the biggest tech analysts in the
country see that also. In the end, somebody is going to be proven
wrong...I just hope it's not us.

TO ILLUSTRATE: Oppenheimer just upgraded my USS to buy with a near-
term target of 50. I paid 15 for that stock two years ago...it went
up to 38 and back down to 30 and then a Barron's analyst said it was
not worth 8 (obviously he was holding it short)...the stock went down
to 19. It's back up to 34 and lots of new stuff coming out...profits
and sales are growing at a tremendous pace. This from a company that
some analysts said could not compete with a giant like J&J!
