You might be interested in a letter I got from Fidelity last week.

To quote:

"With the PLEDGED ASSETS PRODUCTS from Fidelity and GMAC Mortgage qualified Fidelity customers can buy a home or v action property WITHOUT A CASH DOWN PAYMENT."

"Instead of liquidating your assets for a down payment, you can pledge a portion of your eligible Fidelity Brokerage account assets and finance up to 100% of a mortgage."

Talk about doing all they can to keep the bubble going as long as possible. And this when the economy already is dangerously overheated.
