Ted,

Look what happened to the prices and speed grades of cpu's when there was real competition between AMD and Intel. How do we know what would have happened with OS's had MSFT not so definitely dominated the market.

Then someone in the industry needs to do what AMD did. AMD didn't get the US Government to break up Intel. AMD made a better product and is doing well because of it. You are just helping to prove my point with your statement.

You can't blame Microsoft because IBM had no clue with OS/2, and you can't blame Microsoft because Linux is still too hard for most users to use. It's like blaming a doctor because you caught aids during unprotected sex.
