Meanwhile, I think I'm just going to continue to trade these "bear market rallies" at the macro level using a big stock like Barrick. I was going to pick up some mid/small-caps last year because they looked so cheap, but I am glad I didn't because many are much cheaper now (BMG, KGC, TVX, etc.. ) Bottom fishing is difficult, because it may not really be the bottom and if it is it may last for a very long time. I think we may be stuck at $5 silver and $275 gold until the fall, with a very dead summer.
