I don't know what Stanley Druckenmiller actually believes and doesn't believe but lets set the record straight - he is not a technology guy and should not have been playing there in the first place. He was just another suit trading Veritas and Brocade but collecting 20% of the funds profits. This was never in the interests of shareholders and I don't see how he could think it ever was. The long-term track record of Quantum is impressive but lets be candid, in a world of <1% fee sector funds, who needs Quantum to act like a me-too tech fund.
