Yes in a higher interest rate environment it is much harder for banks to make @@. My husband is a senior commercial lender and has been crying the blues...saying how difficult it is to put on New business with a 9% prime. We are close to the highs this morning. I have to fess up to say I am happy with my longs being strong because my May poots are not doing well.
