Wayne - The analysts tried this trick last quarter (lowering many times, all the way up to the earnings announcement) but they didn't lower enough. Nonetheless, their post-earnings hype worked anyway. I can't blame insiders for selling at this point. They are merely taking advantage of the lunacy in the market. However I wouldn't really encourage anyone to try to make money on the short side. If a double digit earnings miss couldn't take MU down, it is hard to see what can.
