I am not the DOJ. I'm just trying to analyze their document. I agree that their remedies will reduce the importance of the Windows OS as a desktop OS, but that is sort of my point... On the other hand, I see the apps company as the real follower for Microsoft, because they will be the one with all the intellectual properties, and because they can deliver the products that people will recognise as being "Microsoft" products.
