Publishing financial advice in a financial newsletter is tantamount to presenting yourself as a financial advisor, IMO. By your own admission, you bask in the spotlight of your readers. Whether you do this for profit and/or self aggrandizement, it is a self serving effort which should hold your pronouncements to the standards set for qualified financial advisors. Are you a registered financial advisor? As you know, this is quite a different matter from sharing your opinion about the position that you personally hold in any security with others who hold an interest in that same security. If you have no interest in that security, and are trying to influence others who do, or who might purchase an interest in that security, then you are giving investment advice, IMO.

Please answer the previous questions posed to you for the benefit of all the readers of this thread, as well as the readers of your investment advisory letter.

Have a nice day.
