biggest question I have is whether ATT parent will share the cash from the AWE ipo I believe the prospectus would indicate sharing capital I would use those multi-$billions in upgrading to a nextgen system like CDMA which has a future do so gradually, over 12-18 months, in stages as soon as wireless data internet advances, AWE will wither on the vine its business will remain viable, but all evidence of growth will disappear a voice only wireless network? doesnt have much of a future well, as much as a public utility but that fits well in the mindset of ATT executives (fat, dumb, happy, with tons of cash, bluster, brandname) did all the ATT brainpower go to Lucent ??? / Jim Willie
