I'm guessing that's a result of terminology. Apollo has grouped mutual funds with greenbacks to create the cash category. I don't believe he did that in the November survey.


Actually, the same exact method was used in November '99. Hence, the increase in cash occurred using the same measurement. One reason could be the Market rout in April may have increased sales and freed up cash. Another reason is that many may have anticipated the excessive Market valuation, and had already begun to take some profits.
