Calling Castro an honorable man is repugnant. He is a dictator. The only honor he cares about is his own. And just because you think he and Stalin are bad communists, does not mean that you are not a communist.

To sum up American imperialsim. You are a fool if you believe that communism and fascism have not been threats to democracy in the 20th century. I am not saying the end justifies the means. But your implication that the wrongs committed by our government were based on imperialistic goals is simply ludicrous. Nothing could be farther from the truth. These actions were done in an environment of war. Cold or not, it was war. War is hell. And what did we tell Truman to do? Give them hell Harry was the prime directive.

The problem now is how do we as a country develop a new foreign policy designed for peace. I do not think it will happen now because it would cause havoc in Japan. I am referring to Chalmers Johnson's latest book Blowback.

Those links deal with American law. How does Cuban law, supposing that they have one, decide this issue?
