Compare what cash strapped resource poor AMD accomplished next to what money-coming-out-of-its-ears design-centers-all-over-the-place Intel was able to do with its new Rambus platform and 800 series chipset family.>

No doubt, AMD's execution right now looks phenomenal compared to Intel. Just that I do not find it acceptable to be "sold out" or "limited by motherboards" when you have a nearly empty mega fab. Clearly my bar for considering AMD performance "excellent" is not shared by some of the folks on this thread. That's OK.
