Cirruslvr, <Guess which analyst is already talking trash about the new venture to be formed? Yup, Ashok Kumar! For a change, you can actually understand what he is saying. He says that without Intel participating in this it really doesn't even begin to make sense. He says Intel potentially participating in this doesn't make sense because each OEM has different pricing with Intel. He calls this venture a "non-starter." He thinks this will have a short life. biz.yahoo.com > Does anyone else know what Ashok is saying with respect to vendor pricing being openly available to competition? If so, Ashok could be right!
