I think you mean Q2, right? We had 1.2 in Q1 so 1.8 would be a normal 50% progression.

Then the intention is to DOUBLE Athlon (including Duron's) production to 3.6M

Maybe they figure they can increase classic Athlon plus the few TBird's they make this quarter by 50% to reach 1.8M, but depending on how many Duron's are made in Q2, the total will be beyond that.
