Anyone who buys Avanex on the basis of transitory matters such as lockups and such will probably sell at the wrong time anyway

George, I would ask you to imagine Laetitia Casta wearing a hot pink bikini at a poetry contest (I think you can imagine this). She steps on stage, reads her poem, and brings down the house. Leaves the competition on their knees. She wants to think she won because of the merits of her poem--immortal words which will outlast the transitory nature of not only her bikini, but (perish the thought!) even Laetitia herself and all of the poetry viewers (I mean listeners). Still, they will always remember that bikini.

I think you can see where I'm going. The reality of what has happened to the stocks you recommend and given prime real estate to in the form of a GTR cover article is a short-term knockout. Over the long-haul, maybe the companies do well or don't do well, based on the fundamental reasons you present. That seems to be your aspiration. But the short term is why people are paying attention, and I'd think that transitory reality is one worth acknowledging (and respecting).
