Reply & warning & request: Good points G&J, and right on the money. You mentioned WEBM and ONDS... I had let ONDS fall off my screen, dangitall.
Yet Monday, more than a third of what I am tracking right now performed well. It's not hard to pick on a day like this (I played the asterisks):
VNTR +21% MCAF +15% (was up 45%) DSLN +27.5% (was up 40%) COBT +20% INPR +20% LNUX +48% SCII +22.6% **SQNM +35.5% (shoulda held) CRA +21% SQST +26.5% AGIL +23% **EPNY +29% (shoulda held) EXPE +42.5% RDWR +17% SLTC +23% AGEN +22% SVNX +14% WEBM +25.5% CHINA +23.5% **SIFY +13% CHRD +15.5% NUAN +32.5% IASIA +17% **DMRC +39% (shoulda held) MAXY +48% **BBSW +16% **FIRE +39.5% (shoulda held) QXLC +11% **BWAY +25% (shoulda held) PFSW +7% By midday, I had to leave for an appt. so shifted out of many too early: I had IDCC +11%, EMLX +5% (was up 10%) Holding both for more. Now here's an interesting change-of-heart warning. Yesterday, TJoe indicated he thought we were about to soar to 4400. Today, he's posting this:
>>>May 2,2000 Shifting sands ,, full of death traps ,, <<<
My Tuesday picks: Since EMLX is so near the bottom, I'm not too worried about that and unless IDCC insiders are privy to bad info forthcoming, it ought to be safe till at least Thursday morning earnings report. I think PFSW may perform today, too. I expect ISLD to hit 40-45 within 2 days. QXLC is in an ascending pattern; can anyone figure out when it reports earnings? (I think soon). I think KANA & EPNY have a ways to go yet, too. Keep your eyes on small cap EXGT too... new patent and mgt changes may pop it another 40% this week. Look for EBNX and PRVW to take off about now, too.
But I would be careful now; stick with quality that's bottomed and remember how to use your stops.
And a final note:
If my messages drop off, I may be focused elsewhere this week, as my Dad, who's suffered from congestive heart failure for the past 7 years, has been having a rough time lately. His spirit is getting beat down lately, due to a persistent cough that's developed, and he talks like he's tired of life. I would appreciate prayers for that good man and a miracle would be nice if you have one handy to mend an old heart. And if I haven't said so before, always put love first. Kevin H. ******** |
