WALTHAM, Mass., May 1, 2000 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- InfoLibria, Inc., a leading provider of Internet infrastructure solutions that enable content-distribution and delivery services, today announced an agreement with RealNetworks(R), the recognized leader in media delivery on the Internet, to integrate RealSystem(R) G2 with InfoLibria's MediaMall(TM) streaming media solution. The agreement strengthens the MediaMall platform, which was recently named Network Magazine's Streaming Media Product of the Year, by allowing creators of RealSystem G2 content to easily distribute their video and audio files into InfoLibria-enabled networks.

InfoLibria's MediaMall improves the Web experience by positioning video and audio at the edge of the network, where it is extremely close to end users. InfoLibria can now sell MediaMall with RealServer(R) software integrated and installed, allowing service providers to intelligently distribute RealSystem G2 streaming media. End users requesting the distributed content will receive a stream from the MediaMall system instead of from the origin server.
