Rocketman, as far as I'm concerned, there's no need to defend yourself, you've always contributed civil and interesting posts to this thread, and explained your reasoning on strategies whenever you are buying puts or calls or going long stock. You've never solicited anybody else to follow you, and you've done very well in a volatile market both on the put side and the call side.
My hunch is that when you were talking about DIM options, you were talking about those who use them as stock replacement, near term--take a bulk amount of cash and convert long shares into DIM options. If they're DIM leaps and you're bullish on the company, I find that to be low-risk. However, near term, I tend to use tiny amounts of $ on speculative OTM options. YOu seem to have taken the same route, and like the occasional ten bagger. You aren't just a bull in a bull market--many of your recent posts showed you to be more bearish short-term than most of us, and you explained your reasons why on this and other threads. You said you were bullish long term but bearish because of Greenie and his interest rate hikes, and had a significant amount of cash. This all made sense to me.
