In my opinion, the market is struggling with the following issues:
1) The threat of Inflation- It is real, here in Manhattan, NY my parking garage successfully increased its monthly rate(first time in 5 years). Manufacturers, for the first time in years, are able to raise prices.
2) Old Techs struggling to maintain leadership- Investors mistakenly equate At&t's problems with New Tech(Ntap etc.)
In my opinion, the New Tech Fundamentals are too strong and with the probability of multiple rate hikes, the only game in town because of its high growth rates.
