Blake,

I found these two paragraphs very interesting:

This year, Rambus will comprise around 50% of the 128 Mbit production at Samsung and Hyundai, according to Jeon Woo-Jong, an analyst with Dongwon Securities in Seoul. But synchronous will represent 90% of the companies' 64 Mbit DRAM production, he adds, because of the small price premium for Rambus at that level.

Demand for DDR will be limited to high-end servers, says Kim at Samsung. "Even if we assume that DDR devours all of the server market, DDR will take only 8% of the world's total market," he says.

Good find tech_future and thanks for reposting it, blake.
