I was unable to access SI last night and have just read what went on here since late yesterday afternoon. This is a small but widely-read thread in which many of the active posters are avid defenders of their own styles of options trading. This is a good thing and is helpful to the many people who read us and who are trying to learn options trading.

However, a pattern has developed where stylistic arguments degrade into personal insults, to the point where we've lost valuable thread contributors. This is disappointing to me and Jill, as we devote a fair amount of time to this thread and its members.

We're asking you to stop insulting our threadmates.
