I think you are talking about # of contracts, then, not amount of $ allocated? In other words, when Sept 55 NTAP cost me 11, the 100 cost me 3. So by contract they were cheaper. If I just wanted to allocate a certain amount of $ to NTAP options, I would do what I did--a mixture of slightly ATM and OTM. I traded in and out of the OTM quickly but am holdign the ATM at least until earnings (I believe May 16), or maybe even add to the position on a downturn, and/or sell them adn buy them back. I like that as a strike price for possibly exercisng later on.

By the way, Dec are available but on dreyfus at least they're only up to 80. I wonder why.
