WorldStar By Composite Automobile Research Ltd., Wins Praise in Crash Tests At Texas A&M University

EL CAJON, CALIF. (May 12) BUSINESS WIRE -May 12, 1999--Composite Automobile Research Ltd.,(OTCBB:CARHF) and its wholly owned subsidiary, World Transport Authority Inc., announced the very successful results of a series of professionally prepared and observed crash tests.
The tests were conducted by W. R. "Rusty" Haight, Instructor, with Texas A & M University System in College Station, Texas late in 1998.
Instructor Haight, a Guiness Book of Records record holder for number of crash tests in a day; 26, crashed the WorldStar nose first into a concrete loading dock at 22mph and crashed a Ford Motor Co. (NYSE:F) sedan into the WorldStar broadside at 40mph. The resultant damage to the WorldStar was a snapped hood hinge set ($31.00) and a set of rubber hood straps ($19.50) from nose first crash; and a three inch crack in the door jam (less than $100) from the broadside impact which totally wrecked the Ford Motor product.
The Texas A & M instructor stated to Douglas Norman, World Transport Authority Director of International Sales yesterday at a Texas A & M Crash Test for national TV airing at the El Cajon Speedway racing facility; "The WorldStar is the most rugged and durable vehicle we have ever crash-tested. No one at the crash-test site in Texas believed the WorldStar was anywhere nearly as strongly built as it definitely proved to be. It is one very tough pick-up."
