Yes- I understand- I feel the same way. I finally started a timeline for myself- there is so much confusion about who ordered what when. Although starting a notebook feels like SCHOOL. I have always been a very poor student of history or anything factual. My brain doesn't work that way. Now I'm sorry I didn't pay better attention. I would have flunked out of St. John's the first week. Maybe day. This woman is a flibbertygibbet!!! (poking fun at myself over something someone said on the Elian thread) I am having fun tracking down stuff people mention though, historical events and philosophy and leaders-- consequently learning a lot. But I'm also finding that a lot of times people are twisting things- and revising, and REALLY twisting what is said TO them. The strangest thing is that people want to stick you in a box with a label- so then they can pretend what you say is wrong if it doesn't work for them because you are a-__________(fill in with your most unfavorite thing- e.g. carnivore, poloplayer, blonde) It's all very interesting. I should be out scrubbing the pool.
