Anindo, today was the day of the inflation proxies...this is clearly not good. among other things it suggests diminishing confidence in the Fed's willingness to combat inflation in an election year. we will see how the Nasdaq handles a period of weakness in its big cap components. the recent bottom, as well as the trendline that contained the last downswing will have to be closely watched for signs of the test being a successful one. i'm not ruling out anything though. lots of Nasdaq stocks remain in absolute nosebleed territory.
