I tap gently on the gracious porch railing and ask to partake among lurquer and Dealer because of some compelling visions in common:
El Centro, huh, and Calex... and Mexica.., and the revolving door to the northern Baja desert, with Yuma looming in the far distance. I've frequented those parts a few times, soaring over Salton and driving over Cleveland and the pines, the wolves and the deer.
But, whoa, Baranca del Cobre, a destination of mine, as yet unfulfilled, since '91, when I started the drive up from Chihuahua when a freak March snowstorm (not so freak) turned me back.
Dealer, you taking the RR from Chih town? And what arrangements with guides and whatnot. Get down to the bottom of that canyon, and wear your boots!
I want to know.
From a lurquer, not a porcher, to catch on to the daily buzz from Voltown.
