FLC misses - re: the benefits of CASH here... Cash looks & feels pretty good at the end of the day - lots of opportunity potentially during the next two weeks going into the Fed Meeting - and there could be a huge potential breakout rally from there in Tech going back to Nasdq 5000 and DOW 12,000 by year end imho. Cash is both offensive & defensive here and I enjoy having all the options. We've all made lots of money here - unquestioanbly the OSX has a long, long way to go yet; and if it has EVER been ahead of itself a bit - it is here imo - given the potential rug that Greenspan can pull out from under the entire market within the next two weeks. PS - remember that when we had $32 Crude Oil - we soon were able to buy virtually everything in the Oilpatch much, much cheaper... remember that sobering fact if you're feeling 'bulletproof' over $3 Nat Gas and getting a bit giddy here on that whopping 3 point move over where we've allreadsy been 3-4 times on prior sector runs ! No one has, or will miss anything here taking profits and raising cash. Look at the chart from last September the last time we had $3 gas and got all the sector rotation. We collapsed out of nowhere from approx OSX 90 to 65; over a 25% pullback which is a hit of 50% to capital on anyone who blindly rode to slaughter on full margin into the euphoria of $3 NG. How soon we all forget. Pigs get Fat - But Hogs get slaughtered... ...color me phat ~ and full of ca$h - the profits are in the cash register allready in the $lider house and aint no one prying it from my greedy little fingers - least of all Alan Greenspan ! I don't know if FLC blows off a couple of bucks for their miss in this environment or not. It was expected by most analysts - but; if they do - I'm a buyer; its still THE best longterm upside play of the major large cap names - bar none. ...and if you don't have the fear of what Greenspan may do and how the entire market may react, including the Oilpatch; look at REITS & GOLD. Gold, oil & real estate strong today - that has NOT happened of late; there is real fear out there and for good reason. Take the money here from those who are fleeing to safety. Sell them your life preserver and your boat and then calmly walk back to shore and sit out the storm as they sail away...
