As a more or less disengaged party, I can see that reading this as "back off - or else!", the definitive threat, is reasonable and prudent. Haqihana has suggested a more benign interpretation, but my gut read is that this was pretty naked intimidation. My hat is off to E for having the guts to call haqihana on this.
Haqihana, I have no quarrel with you. But just as E overstepped the boundaries of "nice" with her musings regarding PROLIFE's mental fitness, I say that you crossed the line with the text I've reproduced here.
