Jim, <AMD is working on 2, 4 and 8 way chipset(s?), due later this year. The lack of one available now is one way that AMD has NOT executed, IMHO and perhaps Charles' opinion as well.>

Right now, I only know of two chipsets which are due for this year, the 760 and the 770. If I recall correctly, 760 is single-processor, single-DDR, and 770 is dual-processor, dual-DDR. I'm pretty sure 760 will be here by Q3 or Q4, but I'm not sure about 770.

I don't know of any 4 or 8-way chipsets that have been announced for this year. All I hear is that AMD and API are working on them, but the release schedule for these chipsets are even sketchier than that of the 760 and 770.
