Skeets, I was a bit abbreviated in my comments on The Zone Diet. Here is the piece that quotes the scientific community: cbass.com Most of the research is down on the Zone, but Bass likes it for its one good idea on insulin levels, and so do I. However, there is no way in the world I can survive on the amount of food he recommends. And I think using natural, complex carbohydrates and eliminating sugar zaps the insulin problem as well as the Zone Diet does. Hope this gives you some food <g> for thought without discouraging you. If it works for you, then use it.
