Here's some interesting reading for your spare time: the SEC Web site has posted all electronically filed comments on its proposed Regulation FD, which would eliminate selective disclosure of material corporate information to financial analysts.

Here's the comment from the Securities Industry Association, which "strongly opposes" your right and mine to have equal access to corporate information:
