Joe G's Last Post was December 3, 1998. I say we should toast the memory of old Joe G. Cheers, the Bear will Rise Again.... Maurice Winn and I were pretty mean to Joe when he first arrived at SI. Joe had always had secretaries in the working world, and his typing skills weren't polished... although Joe certainly was highly educated, I think he may have been a science professor at the university level. Maurice hung the moniker "Chimp" on poor Joe, and we spent far too much time teasing him. Aw, well, it's not like I don't get paid back for indulging in the dark side...
