Iomega Announces IomegaReady Program; IomegaReady Supports
Partners In Making Iomega Products Industry Standard

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 18, 1996--Continuing its drive to set the standard for
personal storage solutions, Iomega Corporation (NASDAQ:IOMG) today announced a new
program called IomegaReady, designed to assist OEMs, channel partners and consumers in
launching, selling and identifying PCs equipped with Iomega storage drives.

IomegaReady Supports OEM Partners

IomegaReady ensures that OEM partners who create systems incorporating Iomega storage units
are fully equipped to launch and sell those systems as compatible with Iomega media. Program
components include:

-- sales team training

-- on-site sales support for key accounts

-- co-op advertising

-- joint point-of-purchase materials

-- incentive programs

-- phone support and print materials

IomegaReady Supports The Channel

IomegaReady not only provides support to OEM partners, it spurs demand for OEMs by
addressing channel needs. To facilitate sales through the channel, IomegaReady affords VARs,
resellers and retailers a comprehensive support program to encourage brand recognition of all
"IomegaReady" systems. This program includes:

-- marketing and sales support and training

-- point-of-purchase collateral materials

-- catalog and logo branding

Iomega's Zip drive is a $199 personal removable storage device that uses 100-megabyte Zip
disks. Zip disks are available for as low as $14.95. The Jaz drive is a one-gigabyte removable
hard drive capable of holding the entire contents of most internal hard drives. Jaz can be used on
both PCs and Macs and costs $499 (internal) and $599 (external) with disks as low as $99. The
Ditto Easy tape backup drives rely on a "1-step" backup process, and are available in a range of
models from $99.95 to $299.
