I put on the second end of my barbell today, which held up well, but I don't enjoy as much my hedged tech exposure given the market's behavior. I almost feel like I'm out of phase with the market. And I know it's exactly because of the technical nature of the portfolio holdings. Picking bottoms is a loser's game when the technicals are against you. The second end of my barbell is an attempt to get me back to my discipline, and so far, it is paying off. I think one either has to play the OB/OS game here, or just sit and do nothing, whether one has a long position or not. Rainier
