Eicon's DIVA ISDN USB Selected by Deutsche Telekom, Eicon's ISDN USB Adapter to be Sold in High-Volume Consumer Market
MAY 3, 2000 MONTREAL, CANADA--Eicon Technology, a leading global provider of Internet access products, today announced that Deutsche Telekom AG (NYSE: DT) commenced selling Eicon's DIVA ISDN USB to the high-volume ISDN market in Germany. Sold under the Deutsche Telekom brand name Teledat Surf USB through Deutsche Telekom's retail outlets, it is now available for customers that require access to the Internet using Deutsche Telekom's T-ISDN Service.

The unit also comes with special protection software to provide users with safe Internet connectivity and protection against fraudulent access. In addition, DIVA ISDN USB is fully compatible with the upcoming Deutsche Telekom's ISDN @ctive service that will allow users to stay connected to the Internet but be charged only when actually surfing the Net.
