Mr Fun doesn't realize that JDSU and the rest of the manufacturers are trying to drive the costs down as fast as possible. DWDM is limited to the backbones due to excessive costs. A decrease in costs will open the metro markets which are huge. Additionally, companies are moving towards all optical networks over the next two years, thus increasing demand for optical components. Don't worry about over capacity until you and 1,000,000 other people can watch Starwars over the net. Mr Fun is great in the router space, but is out of his league in photonics and wireless,IMHO.
