Evidently the Street "sold" the news - what a surprise (VBG) Can't get a "reversal" any better than last evenings API #'s - maybe, the Street will wait for DOE conformation and buy then, or then again; maybe they also realize that there is no reason not to take profits as the flight to safety buying pressure is subsiding and the "usual" pullback is when to buy... ? Got FLC on the tic under $20 on the earnings estimate miss - buying opp here and will chase it large on ea $ down. The only driller that is a legitimate doubler from here. Bought some of the last cheap PXD imho this am as well - nice upgrade to Strong Buy by First Alabany, others to follow - cheap on a reserve basis & still heavilly penalized for its debt leverage. Only PXD BSNX FST still look "reasonable" in the E&P's - I'd be profit taking on virtually all else. Integrateds still cheap KMG UCL TX OXY holds & add on weakness. Only looking at FLC & PGO pricewise here in the OS sector. Watching Gold... .50 and another 2 x .25 thru this year could be a huge catalyst for Gold Stock upside - nice hedge in the nearterm. Keeping lots of powder dry for "bargains" on a Fed Hike market blow off - be it in tech, retail, financials, or the Oilpatch - something will go on sale at "firesale" prices soon...
