I think the average ASPs are much higher maybe as much as 20-30%. Remember most of demand is for large cache chip which have a ridicolous ASP.

Also the 1M/qtr was old data and it may be closer to 1.2M units.

If you redo the numbers with 1.3M units with a 1200 ASP you get radically different numbers.

Ted has commented on Intels high margins vs AMD and it is almost solely due to the lack of compettion in server arena.
