It's ethernet stuff. It's high enough bandwidth to get them into the metropolitan area. If they win significant business in that space it might involve longer product cycles. I'm not sure ethernet ever makes it as a legitmate transport on the WAN. The variable packet sizes make it more complex for handling isochronous data types and the theory I keep hearing about is that ultimately you'll see IP directly over whatever physical transport is running. This is much more bulldozer's area of expertise, but as you can see he's stopped posting. Doesn't have much to do with PMCS at this point.
