Carpe, how about taking the reins today?. . .I am not trading today . . . have sold many of the more volatiles. . . and will be cutting out. . . have meetings all afternoon and evening. Loads of boring food companies running today. . .even Coke is hot. We already made our choices from this group. . .looks like the rotation into gold, Dow stocks, Food stocks, Retailers, Oil Services, etc. etc. is slowly pulling traders away from tech stocks. . .if this rotation continues. . .it will thin out the number of traders available to cover the techs, which would lead to anemia. . .and eventual declines across the board. Today is 2 down days to Monday's 1 up. . . which is another vote in favor of the Big money having gone short for the summer. . . still some good picks. . but picking is getting riskier as the momentum shifts from bull to bear for the summer. . .if that is indeed what is going on here. If we get a major snap back rally today. . .then there is still no clear indication. . .but if we slowly drift lower on low volume. . .then it appears that we are in for a long slow summer . . . similar to last year. . . .regardless that the TA shows strength, in my opinion. Here is everyone's assignment while things are slow. . . start finding sources of due diligence for the Frankfurt stock market and for all European tech stocks. Don't send me individual picks. . . but rather due dili and sources of due dili. We need to pick these over time as a group. . .please, no cheerleading the ones you might already have. . . Also, anyone with a quick reference on how European accounting or stock profiles differ from America. . .please advise. We want to compare apples with apples. Everyone is going to be able to trade European stocks soon. . .there are bargains there. . . now is the time to start defining the most potent players. . . it may be small cap stocks. . .or large caps that don't have ADRs. . .I don't know. But we want to place our position buys immediately upon making our selection. . . . . .even if we must sign up for additional brokerage accounts to do so. . . then wait for the herd to arrive and bid up the best players. Mutual Funds playing choice Next Generation [Broadband] Internet European and Biotech. . . might be good, too. . . . This type of play could lead to some serious gains over time. . . I mean I am looking for 10 baggers. . .lots of them. Such opportunities don't come around very often. . . and I'll be very disappointed if we aren't there profiting in a major way from this historic event. Rande Is
